Dua for ghusl after periods

Menstruation is a normal bodily process that involves the shedding of the uterine lining. During this period, women were considered ritually impure and were prohibited from engaging in acts of worship, such as Salah and touching the Quran. However, once menstruation ends, women must purify themselves through Ghusl, which involves cleansing the entire body with water.

Dua for ghusl after periods

When performing Ghusl, women can recite the following dua:

اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْنِي مِنَ التَّوَّابِينَ وَاجْعَلْنِي مِنَ الْمُتَطَهِّرِينَ

“Allahumma j’alni minat-tawwabina waj’alni minal-mutatahhirin.”

Translation: “O Allah, make me among those who frequently repent and make me among those who purify themselves.”
